Sonia Hasko

President

Hi! I'm Sonia Hasko and I am very excited to be your President for the 2021-2022 school year. My goal is to reach more Townsend students and ultimately showing them that learning computer science can be fun! As a coding director, I will also prioritize access to free, easy-to-use resources and hope to improve communication between members and leaders. I want every person in ModIT to feel like they belong, so I am here for any questions and/or concerns you may have!

William Olsen

Vice President

Hey! I'm William Olsen, or Billy if you prefer, and I'm gonna be Vice President of ModIT for the 2021-2022 school year. I have an ambitious vision for ModIT as a club, and I hope that, in addition to helping our members learn in our various divisions, we can work on projects that bring the skills of these divisions together into an extraordinary product. I've been a part of ModIT since my freshman year, seeing the strategies that best allowed the club to learn effectively and work productively. I sincerely hope that all of our members get what they want out of ModIT, from knowledge in Programming or experience in Computer-Assisted Design. Lookin' forward to working with you all! Christelle Diab

Social Media Manager

Hi!! I'm Christelle Diab, and I'm looking forward to being your social media manager for the 2021-2022 school year!! I plan on creating effective remainders and posts on our Instagram to help grow our follower base and remind students of upcoming meetings. One of my priorities will be showcasing the many different projects created in the various divisions of ModIT. Achieving that will allow me to display the hard work of both our directors and club members, reminding others that they don't need any prior experience to join! Another significant priority of mine will be engaging with our followers to help guarantee the best experience. As an incoming sophomore, I will also join the others in learning CAD as I believe that it's one of the most engaging divisions! I can't wait to meet everyone, and if you ever feel like you need to talk or have any questions, you can always reach out to me! :))

Mahidul Islam

Hello! I am Mahidul, the current Secretary of Mod IT. I am thrilled to have received such an opportunity to be part of this amazing and versatile club. As a Secretary and a Director of Coding, I aim to make the club as delightful and productive as possible. Sharing my knowledge of Computer Science and learning from the experience. I hope to create a fun and enjoyable learning experience for those new to coding or for those who are familiar with it. Making sure everyone receives an equal opportunity and chance to learn. Nidhi Mahadevan

Hi! My name is Nidhi Mahadevan, and I will be your treasurer for the 2020-2021 school year. I am also the director of Data Analysis. This past summer, I learned how to use R through an internship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and suggested adding it to ModIT. While my role as treasurer will be limited because of the current learning model, I still want to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
